The George Hotel provides a great atmospheric alternative to modern hotels or purpose built conference centres for meetings, seminars, events or private functions. The hotel is conveniently located in Piercebridge, Darlington, DL2 3SW.
Our Function room is in a perfectly proportioned late 18th century Georgian extension to the main building with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the hotel’s inner courtyard. It accommodates up to 65 guests, has a private bar and comes complete with integral data projector, retractable screen and state of the art sound system. Guests can use the dedicated bar or the nearby Oxford Room to breakout and relax, whilst the adjacent inner courtyard is ideal for al fresco dining.
